The London Wolves Walk 2023 - a Tower Trot and a Southwark Stroll

This years walk features famous landmarks both north and south of the River Thames. Starting near the site of the Tower Hill scaffold - where over 125 people "lost their heads" between the 14th and 18th centuries - the walk takes us over Tower Bridge, into the quieter streets of Southwark and then back towards bustling London Bridge. As always, there will be lots of interesting places to see en-route and a choice of over 34 pubs - some of them haunted - although, unfortunately, there will not be enough time to visit them all! A bus is available for those who prefer not to walk. Hopefully, the sun will be shining and the day will feature something of interest for everyone. If you wish to partake in this extravaganza of fact and fiction, please meet in "The Liberty Bounds" (Wetherspoons), 15 Trinity Square, Tower Hill at or before 11-30 for a 12pm start on Saturday 8th July 2023.
